Blogging For Africa’s Tailwind Feature –Trusted by 1M+ Creators. Here’s What It Means for Blogging For Africa✨
Let’s rewind back to February.
Because something beautiful happened — and I’ve been meaning to sit down and reflect on it properly.
In the middle of building, creating, and staying grounded in my purpose, Blogging For Africa was featured on TailwindApp’s official blog.
During what I now call Season One of this Blogging For Africa journey — which you can find here → Season One Of Blogging For Africa: My Take! — that feature landed like divine timing.
Yep. That’s Tailwind. The platform trusted by over 1 million marketers and content creators around the world.
But here’s the kicker…
Just before they reached out — and I mean literally a week or two prior — I had published a feature of my own:
A full-blown roundup of 64 Black-owned businesses to support during the holidays and beyond.
No pitch. No strategy. Just intention. Just love.
And then… boom. A surprise feature request from Tailwind lands in my inbox. They didn’t just mention me — they spotlighted me.
They linked directly to BloggingForAfrica.com — and spotlighted a video where I broke down the exact Pinterest trends I’ll be using in 2025.
Video and blog feature? Say less.
✨ Why It Meant So Much
Now let me be real with you.
When Tailwind asked for a video clip, I didn’t have the perfect camera setup.
I was running off a few hours of sleep.
The lighting? Questionable.
The background? Not perfect.
And the deadline? Two days.
But I did it anyways.
Tired. Imperfect. Not polished. But present.
And that’s what made this moment mean even more.
Because while I know there are so many more features coming for Blogging For Africa — this one felt deeply personal.
Season One of Blogging For Africa was all about faith.
Having a vision without all the details.
Knowing the heart of what I wanted to build — without fully knowing the how, who, or what next.
It was about showing up anyway.
Building the dream with what I had.
And trusting that the pieces would come together in time.
So to have a major platform like TailwindApp say:“Hey, we see you. We see your brand. And we’d love your insight on a topic as important as Pinterest Predicts.”
It wasn’t just a feature.
It was a full-circle moment.
With 17,800+ Pinterest followers and a global blog that’s growing fast, this reminded me that impact doesn’t wait on perfection.
Until next time! Your favorite foodie and blogger, Keesh.
