Soulfilled Marketing Agency: How I’m Building With Peace, Not Burnout.
Hey Love Bug — I’m backkk! ♥️
And the goal, my friend, is to always be back here daily on the blog — sharing all the good info, tea, and everything in between. Blogging, business, creativity, global business — broken down in a way we all can really understand💛
But today? I want to pull back the curtain a little.
Let’s talk about how I’m building my soulfilled marketing agency in the midst of chaos.
Because let’s be real — we all see what’s going on in the world. Things are loud. Distracting. Unpredictable. So how am I still finding joy and actually building something anyway?
Well, while I could give you a list of tech tools or strategy tips, the truth is — it’s a lot less about tech, and a lot more about… personal rhythm. My peace practices. The habits that hold me together.
So let’s dive in.
1. I spend quality time alone.
Here’s a little secret of mine: I’ve always enjoyed quality quiet time. I love spending time in nature, journaling, enjoying my coffee — simple things. I genuinely find peace in solitude.
Yes, the world is chaotic — but to be honest? I rarely feel it.
Using a combination of the things I cover in this blog post keeps me grounded, focused, and at peace — no matter what’s going on around me.
There’s actual science behind the power of solitude.
Unfortunately, being alone is often seen as a negative in today’s world. You’re told you need to be on the move constantly — hustling, networking, doing-doing-doing. But like I said in my Building a Business Kendrick Lamar Style Post — I work best when I’m grounded, not grinding.
That’s something I teach my clients, too:
The more grounded you are, the more productive you’ll become.
Think about how often people rush through their day only to end it overwhelmed, realizing they never got the things done that actually matter to them. That becomes a cycle.
I’ve been there. And if most people are honest… so have they.
Productivity and focus are skills. They take time, intention, and care to build.
And for me? Grounding comes in small, soul-fueling ways. A peaceful breakfast. A 30-minute coffee break. A walk. A stretch. A moment of silence. They matter.
Quick story:
When I was 19, in college, I took two buses to school and two buses back. But in between, I’d stop at this downtown garden just to read and journal. I loved that space. That silence lit me up.
And still today, I create space for those small moments that keep me aligned.
2. I have a clear-cut vision — for life and my marketing agency.
Having a vision makes blocking out the noise so much easier. I’m not guessing or bouncing between ideas — I already know what I want, both personally and in business.
This kind of certainty is helpful when everything around you feels chaotic. I’m not shaken by the noise — because I know who I am, where I’m going, and what I’m building.
3. Eating Good!
This might sound simple, but it’s a huge part of how I stay focused and energized. I eat light but tasty meals — lots of veggies, fruits, and lean proteins. Yes, I have my cheat days, but overall I stay consistent with what makes my body feel good.
Eating clean helps me feel lighter, more focused, and way more productive.
But again please don’t get this twisted I love my soul food and almost everything in between just in balance.
4. Lots of water.
Don’t underestimate this one! Water is everything. It supports your brain, kidneys, skin — all of it. When I’m hydrated, I think better, move better, and feel better.
A little tip? I use a gallon motivational water jug — and yes, it really helps me stay on track.
I drink about a gallon of water a day.
Psst: Just search “gallon motivational water bottle” on Amazon — you’re welcome, love bug.
5. I give my body the movement and reset needed.
This one right here? A full reset combo.
I take my vitamins regularly — and honestly, that small step makes a difference. It’s not just about physical health, it’s about showing up for myself. I usually pair my vitamins with a full glass of water (or my gallon jug 😉) and a few moments of quiet — no phone, no pressure, just me tuning in.
Then there’s movement — and I don’t play about it. I usually work out 1–2 hours a day, and it’s a total game-changer. Whether it’s strength training, cardio and stretching, that time helps me release tension and stay mentally sharp.
On slower days, I’ll typically go for a walk or do something light — but intentional movement is non-negotiable for me. It’s how I process, how I stay grounded, and how I keep my body and mind in sync.
Little secret: a nice workout in nature even if it’s just walking can be a complete game changer for your mental health overall and your business.
Try it come back and comment and let me know how it went I bet your body and your business will love you for it.
6. Healthy boundaries = peace.
I don’t allow energy-draining people in my life — period. I’m not surrounded by chaos or confusion, I don’t entertain it. Clear cut and straight to the point is my route I enjoy seeing, being and knowing everything clearly and I only remain in calm, peaceful and safe environments.
Nothing to do with tech but this my friend WILL increase not just your business but overall well being. Thank me later love love bug.
7. I know my client avatar and partnership interests.
So something I’m very particular about is partnership and networking. I’m super clear on who I want to work with — the client avatar, the brands, and even the collaborations.
And to be honest? That clarity has made my business (and life) so much easier.
8. Strong personal and business foundations.
This is big. I know what my goals are — for both my personal life and my business. A big part of that is knowing what I want my marketing agency to feel like — structured, soul-filled, and grounded in what actually works for me.
And I’ve built systems that support them.
Yes, I talk a lot about business foundations on the blog — but personal foundations matter too. You are the CEO of your life. So your wellness, your time, your peace — it all has to be protected.
Skipping rest, good meals, or time with loved ones in the name of “hustle”? Not for me.
Sure, every blue moon or here and there, things might get busy — life happens. But consistently? Nah. I believe in taking a more holistic approach.
9. I do what I enjoy — and I don’t stress over what I don’t.
So yes I go to the beat of my own drum — If I don’t like or resonate with something, I don’t do it or I’ll find another way to get the same result.
10. I protect my peace like it’s profit💸
This isn’t just self-care — it’s strategy. When my mind is clear, my brand grows. When my energy is right, my clients win. When I’m spiritually covered and emotionally sound? I create magic.
So yes — peace is non-negotiable. And it’s part of why I’m still building with joy — even in a chaotic world.
11. I don’t allow toxic personal relationships in my life — period.
Let me be honest, love bug — this one’s huge.
You can be eating clean, working out, praying, journaling… but if there’s even one toxic person in your life draining you, doubting you, disrespecting your peace? It will ruin everything.
I’ve been there before.
And I’ve learned this: no vision can fully thrive in a space where your soul doesn’t feel safe.
This is why I protect my personal energy just as much as my professional energy.
I don’t entertain chaotic relationships.
I don’t allow passive-aggressive people to linger.
And I definitely don’t stay connected out of guilt or history.
There will always be negative people somewhere around — but remember: they don’t have your number.
They’re on the outside of your existence, looking in.
My biggest tip? Keep them there.
I don’t pick up the phone. I don’t respond.
I don’t care — to be honest.
Whew — that’s the heart of it, love bug.
This season might be wild, unpredictable, and overwhelming at times — but with the right rhythm, you can still build something beautiful. You can still move with purpose. You can still protect your peace and create a business that feels like you.
You got this. 💛
Okay, until next time. Cheers!🥂
