Season One of Blogging For Africa: My Take! ❤️
Hey love bug 💛 it’s that time again — and today, I’m sharing something a little more personal than usual.
Grab your coffee — or your favorite cozy drink — and let’s dive in.
We always dive deep into my favorite topics like blogging, websites, and tech… plus a sprinkle of yummy, cozy recipes too!
But today? I want to share a behind-the-scenes moment (aka a little sneak peek) of what’s been shifting over here after wrapping up what I like to call Season One of Blogging For Africa.
(And just so you know, when I say “Season One,” what I like to call that first chapter where I really started building this brand out loud.)
Ok, so let’s talk about it. My friend, many things have changed!✨
1. The Vision Got Rooted.
If you’ve been around here for a while (or even just know me in real life), you already know — I’m pretty steady, but I actually love to switch gears when needed.
I learned that in Season One — and being flexible has been a… let’s say big plus for me.
Whether you’re running a business online or offline, one thing’s for sure:
Stay flexible, love bug.
Side note — I used to feel kind of odd being so willing to pivot when things needed to shift, especially in more traditional workspaces.
But honestly? After everything that unfolded in the first season, I see that flexibility as a major benefit now.
2. Content-Driven Websites Are Not Optional Anymore.
So if you’ve been around here for any length of time you know were all about the content driven websites for many reasons I cover a few of the reasons on the blog post listed below:
15 Website Statistics You Can’t Afford to Sleep On This Year!
So, I’m a huge advocate for building a strong foundation in business. (And yes, that includes a cozy space for your blog posts, tips, and all the goodness you’re pouring into the world.)
But after this last season? Whew chile — I’m even more convinced:
Having your own blog or website is an absolute non-negotiable.
Depending solely on social media for your business is like building a house on quicksand.
Platforms change constantly. Algorithms shift overnight.
Your entire business presence shouldn’t be left up to chance.
When you own your blog?
You own your platform, your audience, your opportunities.
No middleman deciding if you can grow, reach new people, or secure new deals.
Here’s the thing:
If your work is real, if your products and services are quality, that’s enough.
Social proof is nice, but a strong, content-driven website gives you real authority — proof via your own results and or client results are strong social proofs not just a numbers game.
Just a little mindset shift.

3. Less Noise, More Strategy.
Ok love bug so here’s the thing during the previous season I got to explore the ground floor of the content I like.
Psst: Yes! There’s a few surprises in store (because you know I like a good rollout 😉) — new spaces, new faces, and honestly, a whole new level of fun and flow.
Which leads me to the fourth thing I learned in the last season.
5. Community & Partnership Building.
This one feels exciting on a different level because… let’s just say there are a few opportunities I’m really looking forward to.
We’re not just connecting to connect.
We’re doing it with intention.
Slow, steady, and soul-aligned.
6. Global Blogging Business (This One’s a Whole Vibe).
One thing I’m super stoked about this season is our Global Blogging Business packages — because whew, they’re truly going to be the all-in-one experience for building your blog and business the right way, with yours truly (meee!) guiding the process.
To be honest, we’ve already been doing this work through the agency — custom website design, blog strategy, and helping brands get seen globally.
But this season? Everything’s getting elevated.
✨ New tiers.
✨ A refreshed process.
✨ A whole new vibe.
If you’ve been feeling the nudge to finally launch with strategy and style… just know, I’ve got you.
So in Closing, Here’s What You Can Expect.
I know for sure that Season One was all about foundation, growth, and learning.
But Season Two? Oh, love bug… we’re about to have funnn — and I hope you’re here for it.
New platforms. New content creation flow. More aligned partnerships. Some gooood food. And real expansion.
Of course, I’d love to tell you everything now…
But patience, haha.
For now? Just know I’m moving with purpose — and what’s ahead feels sooo aligned and sooo for us.
Love bug, you know I want you on the journey, right? You ready? I hope so.
